Dr Helmut Grugger

Helmut Grugger is the author of Dramaturgie des Subjekts bei Heinrich von Kleist (Heinrich von Kleist: Staging Self-Awareness), Trauma – Literatur – Moderne (Psychological Trauma, Modern & Modernist Literature), and Der radikale Poet Werner Schwab. His current projects include a monograph on the Austrian modernist novelist Hermann Broch. He co-edited a two-volume-handbook on the generational novel (Der Generationenroman) and is about to co-edit a compendium on the academic novel (Der Campusroman). As his primary area of research is modern German literature, his publications are written in German and citations will only rarely show up on this site.
