Research interests

Maria’s research interests include Special Education and using evidence-based practices in teaching, the teaching of mathematics to pupils with SEN, co-teaching, language development and Autism Spectrum Difference. Maria has won many awards for her research to date including a bursary from the Irish National Teachers Organisation and the RBS award under the John Coolahan Framework from the Teaching Council.
