Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests center on the intersections of home economics education, social justice, digital citizenship, and curriculum innovation. I am currently leading several projects, including Teaching Council-funded research on character strength education interventions that address cyber aggression in schools and a study examining AI literacy and ethical consumerism among initial teacher education students. I also explore how Home Economics can serve as a vehicle for nurturing just societies and how evolving pedagogical approaches in European Home Economics education inform future directions in teacher preparation. Committed to inclusive and reflective practice, my research informs both my teaching and the broader goal of preparing future educators to navigate contemporary social and technological challenges.
