This session explores the collaboration between immersion and mathematics teacher educators as they guide pre-service primary teachers through the process of Lesson Study focusing on the teaching of mathematics through Irish. In particular, this session reveals the challenges associated with supporting pre-service teachers to facilitate children to develop the appropriate mathematical understandings within the immersion context.
